Chance of Interviews (and offers 2010 Thread)

I was offered a 2nd round interview for Med at Adelaide with a Umat percentile of 80 and a TER of 97.4 plus a few bonus points (not sure of overall TER). But that may be becuase i'm a local. Good Luck though!!

Lol good choice indeed. depends of the person. Of course you can change to med if it was your higher preference.
That made me realise, Arwen, you must have out med as your first preference! SHAME ON YOU. why would you do that if you wanted dent over med anyway? :S

I got a 2nd round med interview when Dent was my first preference though.

Nah med was my fifth preference. i didn't really want to do med Dent was first all the way!!!

These are my results:

Atar estimate: 97.2 (underestimated because my school is stupid)
Likely Atar: 98.5+

UMAT:
Section 1: 64
Section 2: 55
Section 3: 77
Raw Score: 65
Overall: 196
Percentile: 95%

I'm a non rural student living in NSW that isn't part of GWS.

What do you guys think of chances for interviews / offers at UNSW, UWS, Monash, Adelaide, UQ and UNCLE?

I think I also get 2 bonus ATAR points for UQ for doing extension 2 maths.

You should get an interview for UNSW and UWS. UNCLE we don't really know because it's a new system but 64 is a fairly solid S1 score so I'd be tempted to say your chances are fair. UQ should also be achievable too providing their UMAT cutoff doesn't jump hugely again. I don't know about Monash or Adelaide sorry.

ETA: You might not get a first round UNSW interview but I wouldn't worry too much because if you get the 98.5 you think you can you'll get a second round offer. Having a later offer won't hurt your chances at all.
