Monash cut off 2011

hmmmm yeah I would like to know more about the ATAR/UMAT stream.....are you sure it's only people with like a 99.95? I'm 99.3 atar 83rd percentile UMAT gap year so I don't think I have much chance......thoughts?

For Monash: You still have a chance (since your ATAR is >99), but not a very high one because its sort of on the lower end of 99. It all depends on the applicants, for example if they get a lot of applicants with an ATAR of >99.7 then you wont make it, but who knows With your UMAT, it doesn't really matter because im guessing that you would be aiming for second round offer which requires a UMAT score of at least 168.
OR another pathway is to get 99.95 and a score of at least 150 (with this one, you need to obtain Monash Scholarship for excellence)

haha only in Medicine would a score of above 99 be considered inadequate *sighs dreamily* Thanks a lot for that, I can't change my atar as I'm on a gap year but I don't think my chances are too great. Oh well, to Adelaide (fingers crossed) or JCU (*frowns*) I go!! @wonderman

Hello. I got an interview offer from monash.

it said in the email that the raw mark cutoff was 195, with above 40 in all sections as a minimum


unfortunately i had to decline to the offer cos I dont have english marks =(

They then sent me a very polite email asking me to consider postgrad med. lol.
