The old red, green and blue ACER books were a lot easier.

I think although the free Practice Test 1 they gave you is a fair bit easier than the actual thing, Practice Test 2 isn't too bad in terms of comparable hardness (although the section 2 is still nowhere near as mind&^&*ing as the actual one lol)

There's no consensus. I thought they were much of a muchness, myself.

Agreed - I've said this before, but I really didn't notice a difference between the ACER booklets and the actual thing. In fact I had a go at last years book no. 2 (which had only just come out) and recognised questions in it that were in the actual UMAT when I sat it in 2008 and 2009.

The implication: don't worry if you're not getting 100%, because that'd be phenomenal!
