I feel it was important that the discussion was had in public as it was commenting on the way advice within this thread was being given, and it being in public it may hopefully have been read by the person who received the advice as well as the person who gave it. I would not feel it appropriate for anyone other than a moderator to PM someone over such an issue, or perhaps more succinctly, I would never PM someone over such an issue. Anyways, I've said my piece - both here and in the discussion, so the discussion will be moved elsewhere... to nowhere.
