Hi guys, do we have to plan our timetable before enrolments open using this? https://curriculum.adelaide.edu.au/d..._enrolment.pdf
Does anybody have any recommendations about how to plan the timetable? I'm a bit clueless here.

muse. Not really relevant to this thread, so I may move it.
That displays your classes, so it might be a good idea to pick some out, arrange your timetable as best you can, and note their course numbers. Then once enrollment starts, you can quickly enroll in the classes you want.
It's a good idea for sure to plan your timetable, so that when it comes to enrollement day it's a bit less stressful. You can use the course planner website to do this (https://access.adelaide.edu.au/courses/search.asp), although that MLTU document has all of the tutorial times and information in it, what a handy document. I'd say, use this planner (http://www.adelaide.edu.au/enrol/doc...nner_sheet.pdf) to make a timetable that doesn't clash before you enrol.
And as for recommendations, I have one - go for an early CBL time (10 - 12). A more convenient time for many reasons, an important one being that engineering BBQs are always on a CBL day, and it doesn't do at all to miss one of them!
Get the early 10am CBL for sure. And try and get the earlier resource session as well (although you might end up going to either one anyway)
I personally preferred having cline on Thursday morning, got it out of the way, but that means you have to do Bio on Thursday. If it fits, cline on wednesday can be good because then you can do bio on tuesday and have Thursday off.
That might be heaps confusing, but if you plan your timetable well so you don't have massive 6 hour breaks then it is good - but sadly most of the time table is fixed so you will be at uni 8am - 5pm (if you attend all lectures) so it doesn't make a huge difference.
Does anyone have any idea what the deal is with the Scientific Basis Med I Part 1 lectures? On the enrolment info it I have it doesn't specify any times, while on the course planner site it has 9 one hour lectures per week. Do we do all of those lectures with the whole cohort??

You have to sign up to the SBM I lectures, and they are set times and taken with everyone. It will become more obvious when you start, but just sign up for them all.
And for CBL, you must sign up for the same classes in both semester 1 and 2. So if you are in the 10 - 12 CBL class - and you are in, say, class 2, then you must be in class 2 at the same time for semester 2 as well. They have different class enrolment numbers, but the same class (if that makes sense)
To make this easier, on access adelaide, CBL class 2 will be the second class down in the list.
nonono do NOT get the early 10am CBLs! This will mean that you will always have the late resource sessions, which is the difference between going home at 3pm and 5pm. The other reason is that (i don't know if they do this anymore) but if you have 10am cbl and you miss bio at 8am you can't go to the 10am lecture. Trust me, if you want to be lazy, 12-2 CBL is the way to go.
