During the first two years students study in a lecture environment at the clayton campus. The course consists of lectures and tutorials, with a weekly PBL case which implements the facts learnt that week in a practical patient scenario.

First year students undertake two days of clinical placements in hospital and at a GP clinic. Second year students take part in a once a week community placement in one semester. These placements are often at community health centres or in social work environments.
Years 3-5 (Clinical)
Clinical years are in the hospital environment. Students pick from Monash's clinical schools and go to the hospitals to learn by teaching from doctors working at that hospital.
ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation near Monash Clayton
Mannix
Mannix is the closest accommodation to the medical buildings at clayton. It offers small rooms with a sink, and is the only accommodation with catering. Most meals are provided, and mannix generally has a stronger community focus and more events for students.
Description
Fees
Facilities (food, internet, phone, tutors, parking, bathroom)
Location
Social Life/general area
Application deadlines, fees, requirements

Halls
Halls are situated on the other side of the clayton campus. No food is provided however the fees are cheaper. There are many different halls of residence, each with a reputation that changes from year to year. Some are considered party houses while others more quiet.
A comparison of accommodation:
Comparison of Fees
[I'm planning to work out how to insert a table, and then it'll just have a table comparing the fees of all the accommodations. Maybe a list of accommodations down the side, with different rooms/stuff across the top]

Comparison of facilities
[I'm planning to insert another table comparing the general facilities offered at each of the places, so it's easier to compare them all.]

[This would include a description of the atmosphere in the city (mainly for internationals I guess), targeting the main questions they ask: weather, multiculturalism, how rural it is, transport system...etc
